Keyboard freeze when using facebook comments

Just found the fix. Settings -> Accessibility > Keyboards. Turn on Full Keyboard Access. It looks like this got turned off in the 15.1 update.

Under accessibility/ full keyboard access/commands space is selected under both basic and interaction areas. There are two activate menu items with "space" filled in. Select the menu items with "space" in them and "clear" to get rid of the space bar as the key to activate and this will remove the blue line and space activation of an icon.

Been experiencing this issue for a few weeks now. Running 15.1 and Facebook just freezes when you click a comment and have the Apple Keyboard attached. Tried the Accessibility-Keyboard-Full Keyboard Access trick and switched access on which solved it but added annoying shortcuts and blue boxes around everything.

Trick here is to go into Accessibility-Keyboard-Full Keyboard Access-Commands and turn absolutely all options to Clear, except the arrow keys as they’re still quite useful to use on the keyboard. Lastly, go back into Full Keyboard Access and under Appearance, click Hide and select 1s.

Works like it used to again and no blue boxes.

Actually, turning on full keyboard access was not a real fix and caused other issue. I resolved my issue by uninstalling Facebook app, doing a reboot on my iPad, and reinstalling the Facebook app. I no longer have freezing comment issues.

Forget all that, just upgrade Facebook app, they finally fixed it.

Forget the fixes, just update your Facebook app to 346, they have solved the problem.

Changing the accessibility to turn on Full Keyboard Access is NOT the way to go. Remove/delete the Facebook app, reboot your device, and re-install Facebook. This resolved my comment freezing issues.

Check under Accessibility>Keyboards to see if ‘Full keyboard access’ is enabled, if it is then disable it as the workaround is no longer needed.

When keyboard full access is turned on, if I am typing a reply to an email (Gmail) after a couple of keystrokes, the key skips from a reply to the original message, then eliminates spaces. And the space bar doesn't work. It also happens here on this discussion board (the boxes show up as well, though I did change the color to white as was suggested). If I turn off keyboard full access, Gmail works fine, as does typing here. I have a Logitech keyboard that has worked flawlessly, until I updated to 15.1. I will keep keyboard full access off, even though I lose that one function in Facebook (reading comments). I hope there will be an update that fixes this. If you know of any other options, please share. Many thanks.

I removed the FB app and reinstalled so The comment problem resolved.

BUT the space bar is still not working on some sites. I couldn’t find anything about Space in the accessibility.

when I was using fb the comments locked up my iPad, I fixed it by going into setting, keyboards, full keyboard access needed to be turned on.
