Since updating to ios 15.1 my facebook app doesn’t work properly. If I click on a post the whole app freezes. I’ve tried reinstalling FB and rebooting ipad. Realized today that if I take the ipad off of the magic keyboard the issue is resolved! Any fixes for this?
I have the same issue, I went to Settings - General - Accessibility - Keyboards and turned on “Full Keyboard Access” and it seems to be working now. I saw another post that said this setting was changed during the update.

It’s two steps. After you’ve done the full keyboard access you then need to go to accessibility; keyboards; full keyboard access; commands; then activate and then clear.
Turn on full keyboard access it seems to sort the issue out

Under commands in the under Keyboard, clear spacebar command. You still wind up with occasional blue lines. Haven’t figured that one out yet. Apple needs to get another update out here to fix what they messed up with 15.1.

In settings:
Accessibility>Full Keyboard Access toggle to on
Accessibility>Commands>Activate choose “Clear” from the pop up menu.
Now FB works, and the space bar works. Hoping it stays that way.

Try tapping on Commands on the full access page and clearing the special action for Space and any other key that causes problems.
Facebook has updated their app which seems to have fixed the problem.

What type of iPad do you use? Do you use an Apple-branded Magic Keyboard with your iPad? Here's how to check: Keyboards for iPad.
If possible, can you test another keyboard with your iPad to see if it causes the same experience? Does the problem happen only on Facebook or with other apps? If with other apps, which apps?
If you have not tried already, please restart the iPad. Does this help to resolve the issue? Often this simple step will refresh the apps and software on the device to solve numerous problems you may encounter.

Just adding my own experience of the same problem. None of the offered solutions change the behavior or bug. The only way to navigate on Facebook once iOS 15 is installed is to remove the iPad from the keyboard. If I don’t, it will hang FB every time.
I tried to scroll through the photos like you suggested and the app worked fine for me. (I did have to switch it back to turning off “full keyboard access” as that fixed the original FB problem for me so I could test your issue.) I went back to recreate my original problem and made sure FB was still an issue, which it was, and then I checked the photos and I did not have the same issue as you. Have you tried switching the keyboard access setting?
In another thread about this issue, someone suggested that entering “Clear” for ALL of the keyboard commands listed (not just “Activate”) was a fix. I tried it and now everything seems as it should. So… toggle Full Keyboard Access to “On” and then “Clear” every command listed.
I had this problem and post said change keyboard to full access. I did that and it fixed FB problem but caused another keyboard problem. Blue line, unable to space etc. only goes away if I remove full access on keyboard then I’m back to issues with FB
I've turned off "full keyboard access" and I can now use my magic keyboard in safari as the space bar now adds a space!
