Contact the manufacturer, new drivers may be required with Monterey.

Did you have to install drivers when you first used the scanner?

The latest drivers/software for the two Shine models is dated 2016 so updated ones may be required.

Does the Mac see the scanner in Monterey?

If anyone is still following this thread, there is a new version of the Shine software out that says it is now compatible with Monterrey. You can find the software downloads, here: https://czur.com/support


It is true that the previous software did not work with Monterey, and the Beta that was out for a while was also useless. Hopefully, this new version fixes the problem.

I have this problem and spoke with CZUR. They told me that are working on new software to support Monterey but that may take up to two months. They recommended going back to the old OS or using a Windows device, neither of which are options for me. My CZUR is going into the closet until they fix this and I will use my old clunky HP ScanJet that still works.
