Strange phone behavior after someone called me on WhatsApp for 4 hours straight

I know this person in real life and didn’t want to speak to them. When I got yet another incoming WhatsApp call from them, I tried to ignore but there was no button to decline, and then my iPhone rang w their call for 4 hours straight. Multiple friends tried to call or text me during this time to “break the loop,” but I never received any of these notifications, either in real time or later after the WhatsApp caller finally gave up. What I DID receive during those 4 hours were texts from the WhatsApp caller. Since then my phone has behaved strangely, getting stuck in an auto restart loop, erratically jumping around and not responding to my touch, etc
