Just a theoretical (for now)...

Currently have an iMac in for repair.

Got me thinking, and I can't seem to find the answer....

What would happen if the device can't be repaired?

Replaced with a refurbished identical/similar device?

How does it work?

AppleCare+ on a Refurbished 2013 MacBook Pro I am thinking about buying a refurbished Late 2013 MacBook pro, the only thing stopping me is the anticipation of something going wrong with it next year, and then not being able to get a repair because it could be considered obsolete (not manufactured for more than 7 years). My question is: If I do buy this thing, how long will I be able to get a repair for it? If I bought AppleCare+ or something like that, would I be able to get service a couple of years from now, say in 2021 or 2022? Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!

Question about AppleCare+ and Mac Pros Hi I have a question about AppleCare+ I completely understand AppleCare+ is helpful for MacBooks etc… But what about if you want to cover a M2 Mac Pro which is safe on a table etc.? Basically I’ve never had AppleCare for Mac Pros as they very rarely go wrong and to be honest up until now I thought AppleCare was a bit of a con as it seems to offer very little for a lot of money where Mac Pros are concerned…. I had a 2019 Mac Pro and it broke after 3 years and they still don’t know how it broke, however Apple has very kindly gave me a replacement M2 Mac Pro Ultra, so now I’m wondering how I can cover this new Mac and if it’s actually worth it as Mac Pros are bombproof 99.9% of the time. I’m disabled so my Mac Pro helps me with everything so it’s my life but at the same time I’m pretty skint 😂 What would you suggest to extend the warranty on this brand new replacement and is it actually worth the money? Oh by the way I’m still waiting for this replacement Mac to arrive I’m just trying to be prepared etc. Thanks in advance.

Is it possible to buy AppleCare after 9 months or M1 Pro Macbook 16 Purchase? I got macbook pro 16" M1 Pro, I got it, put full body skin, case, keyboard protector, ports rubber cover, display glass protector activated and updated. Never used again. Battery is one or two cycle. Is it possible to get AppleCare for that device? Is it possible to be inspected and buy apple care?

Since the actual website doesn’t really specify, I did go digging and found it in the terms and conditions.
