Notes app on iPad Pro lagging iPadOS 15, videos not saving

Hello, I’m using notes app for my job, taking pictures or videos and saving them in my notes while I’m writing is very important for me. Since the last update there’s extreme lagging on taking notes, after I save a picture in it. More over, I can’t save a video in my note. If I try to take a video, it will just disappear wenn I hit save. This is really frustrating. When I open a note, in which I have already saved pictures, at first i only see a white page. The text will appear 5s later. Why is this?

Please tell me that it’s a kind of bug that can be corrected with an update.. otherwise the note app is useless!!

Is anyone experiencing the same? Any solutions?

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities. We understand you are having problems attaching videos in Notes and your notes are taking some time to open.

"To add a photo or video, tap in a note, then tap the Camera button . Tap Take Photo or Video to create a new photo or video, or Choose Photo or Video to add an existing one. Tap Use Photo or Use Video, or tap Add to add an existing one.

You can also scan documents and add them to your notes."

If you are using Notes with iCloud, the delay when opening notes may be related to network connectivity.

You can go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud to check.

You'll find additional information to help you use Notes linked below.

There are a few things you may want to consider:

What version of iPadOS is currently installed on your iPad?
Have you checked for and installed all available updates?
Have you tested for the same behavior by creating a new note?

Thank you for your answer I know how to add videos or pictures to my notes. After taking a video while being in the notes app it just won’t appear in my notes after I save it. it disappears. A picture will appear always at the top of the page and I have to drag it down to the bottom every time. This is really annoying! I save my notes on my iPad and not in the cloud…. W

hat should I do? Help!

I’m using the latest iPadOS 15.1 The same issue appears when I write a new note. I have tested it :///
