Bad Message 400 reason: Illegal character CNTL=0x11: cant check my apple purchases

I got an email recently (yesterday) I think might be a PHISH/scam about a purchase on Apple id but im not sure as its possible it was a legit purchase done by my 8 yr old without permission...

I tried to check purchases and in going through steps on many websites i keep getting

"Bad Message 400

reason: Illegal character CNTL=0x11

both on my phone and when logging into apple id via my macbook pro.

please advise as I want to just check my apple purchases and see if this is a PHISH or if i have to truly go and deny this charge as inappropriate due to my son clicking something he shouldnt have.

Any help would be great.

dont want to have to call apple support if i dont have to but will do so if needed

If you don't see one that handles your issue then keep experimenting with selections until you reach one that gets you a chat session or a telephone call and get the representative to redirect you.
