I updated to the mac os monterey as soon as it was available, but my haptic feedback on trackpad stopped working. all the clicks are working fine....... just the vibration is missing........ any help?
i have tried reinstalling mac os, reseting smc and nvram and all but no solution...... will it be fixed with the next bug update or so?

For what its worth, mine came back after deselecting "force click and haptic feedback", doing a hard restart (holding power button until shutdown and then rebooting), and then reselecting "force click and haptic feedback"
That being said, this also happened to me once when I was on Catalina too. Same fix for it then.
Its should be a software problem, my haptic feedback died and comback again and again

Same here on a MBP 2020. Since Monterey 12.4 no haptic feedback. A friend of mine has ordered a MBP 2020 last week and she updated from some earlier Monterey Version to the latest 12.4 build and has no issues at all. I cleaned the whole drive and fresh installed 12.4 and nothing changed. Really disappointing!
