Final Cut Pro won't open.
I am on Monterey, my Final Cut Pro absolutely will not open! I've reinstalled, deleted preferences, but FCP just won't open at all.
Help please I have deadlines!

You have Chrome and its keystone daemons installed which has been known to cause problems with the ProApps. See https://chromeisbad.com for instructions on how to completely remove Chrome. Just trashing the app is not enough.
I'm seeing some old software in the report. In a clean install, you completely format and erase the drive (after doing at least one or preferably two complete backups with TimeMachine and something like CarbonCopyCloner) and then install the OS. Then, only migrate the User data from a backup, no Applications or anything else. All applications should be downloaded fresh. Is this how you did your clean install?

2021-11-25 Clean Free Transitions (1.0)
Is this the free "10 Clean Transitions" from Lenofx? https://lenofx.com/collections/freebies/products/10-clean-transitions-free
It looks quite old with the system requirements saying, "Compatible with Final Cut Pro X 10.2.3" Maybe it's broken in Monterey and/or FCP 10.6.x?
Did you install homebrew python? If so, see this for a possible solution. https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/119429

Yes.
MtD
"clean OS install" I'm saving this and I'll try it after I ask around some more. Thanks so much Tom!
We need to know more about your setup. The crash reports mean very little to anyone except developers.
Please run Etrecheck and post its full report here. Use the "additional text" button and paste the report into the text box.
Good luck! Make sure you have a complete backup (or two just to be safe). Here's a pretty good step-by-step for the different recent macOS versions. https://www.macworld.co.uk/how-to/clean-install-macos-3637409/
What computer is this? What version of FCP do you have?
Which MBP?
I would do a clean OS install and migrate only the users.
Hi Tom, It's my MacBook Pro laptop (Monterey) and FCP 10.6.1
I keep getting that 'Final Cut Pro quit unexpectedly'
I saw this line in the error report "Invalid dylib load. Clients should not load the unversioned libcrypto dylib as it does not have a stable ABI."
Any advice would be deeply appreciated!
No I did not install homebrew python, this is the first time I am finding out about it.
I only downloaded some free Final Cut Pro Luts, then all of a sudden my FCP quit. Then it would not open anymore. I've reinstalled FCP, cleared preferences, did a clean OS install...none of them worked
I did the full clean install successfully, redownloaded my FCP, checked and it finally works!!!!
I really am over the moon, what a relief!!! thank you everyone for pointing out the way for me! Appreciate all the advice! Cheers!
@terryb thanks! to be honest I do not know what is going on in that thread. Do I have to open and paste in terminal some of those scripts?
I did a search on the error message you posted above and a few results suggested it was an artifact of a homebrew python installation. Did you install homebrew python?
No FCP does not have full disk access enabled in system preferences. Should it be enabled?
I reinstalled my OS Monterey as suggested by @Tom Wolsky above...
Final Cut Pro won't open.
