hp envy 4520 trouble with monterey OS

Suddenly, I cannot print with my HP ENVY 4520 printer.

Updated all drivers from HP nothing. Removed all drivers and run a simple install. Still nothing.

I'm using a Macbook Pro 12.0.1 with new Monterey operating system.

Help!

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.0

Give this a try: boot into Safe Mode according to How to use safe mode on your Mac and test to see if the problem persists. Reboot normally and test again.

NOTE: Safe Mode boot can take up to 3 - 5 minutes as it's doing the following;

• Verifies your startup disk and attempts to repair directory issues, if needed

• Loads only required kernel extensions (prevents 3rd party kernel/extensions from loading)

• Prevents Startup Items and Login Items from opening automatically

• Disables user-installed fonts

• Deletes font caches, kernel cache, and other system cache files

Because two Macs couldn't be wrong, I shift my attention to the Printer.

So Before booting the Mac, I "booted" the printer like this:

  1. Turn off the Internet router. Waited 30 secs and turned it on.
  2. turned off the printer and turned it on.
  3. waited for the printer to find the Internet signal and connect to it.

And suddenly everything was OK again.

My initial thought about the MacOS was wrong.

Thank you Old Toad and IIIaass for your advice.
