However, using iPhone's left physical up volume shows not max. Also, this is just from iPhone 12 mini's speaker (not using BlueTooth and cable for audios for maps).
Is this by design or a bug? Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. :)

I understand you've noticed a problem with the audio volume using Maps for direction, so let's see how we can help with that.
With the volume showing maximum, but then being able to adjust using the volume buttons on the side, are you noticing that the volume still increases at that point as you desire to do, or does it remain the same? If you haven't tried restarting the iPhone, give that a try.
If you see that this is still occurring after a restart, it would be best to Contact Apple Support at this point to look into what is occurring.

Yes, using physical left buttons work but that's annoying. I wanted to adjust the volume in iOS v15.2's control center by touching. Restart didn't fix it. Reddit and newsgroup people said this feature was removed from iOS v15. :(
Using iOS v15.2's Maps' oral directions has lower audio volume even though iOS control center shows max(imum) volume.
