Dolby Vision Movies not working - Chroma 2.2.2 not working

Hello,

Movies in Dolby Vision are not playing, they stay stucked without playing.

Chroma 2.2.2 is giving constantly black in and out, they only option is to choose lower quality with Chroma 2.2.0

I have brand expensive new Belkin HDMI cables

Any solutions ?..

Please verify your chroma subsampling options. I know of 4:4:4, 4:2:2, 4:2:1, 4:1:1, 4:2:0, 4:1:0, and 3:1:1. Not 2:2:2. Of these, only 4:4:4, 4:2:2, and 4:2:0 are relevant to HDMI connections.


All streaming video is 4:2:0 in the encoding. Any higher settings on your devices will not result in better video, it only uses more bandwidth. Just leave it at 4:2:0.


What is your model Apple TV? Identify your Apple TV model - Apple Support

Apple TV 4K (1st generation, 2017) and Apple TV 4K (2nd generation, 2021) have different HDMI ports with different capabilities (HDMI 2.0 vs. HDMI 2.1).
