What happened with the Camera!!

I’m so upset. I updated my iPhone 7 Plus and the camera will not video. Not with any apps or the camera app. I can’t video chat or even audio chat with any apps. I’ve tried Facebook messenger, Snapchat, TikTok, and the camera itself. The flashlight works but the camer is even more wacky if I cut flash on it completely freezes. When I try taking video it acts like it’s going to record because I click the button and it goes from a circle to the red square but the timer never starts and nothing is recorded then it turns itself off after a few seconds and says “silent mode” or whatever it says when you press the left side switch for the sound but obviously I’m not touching that. Oh and I just tried to use that silence switch and it isn’t working. I’ve never opened this iPhone 7 because it’s my mothers but should I just replace the camera or see if something else is faulty hardware wise? Or is this a known software issue being looked into?! I’m very ****** off.
