How to change frame rate interpretation of a clip in Final Cut Pro (also changing the timing of the clip)?
How do you control the frame rate interpretation of a clip? For example, within a 24fps timeline, take a one second 30fps clip and play every frame at 24 fps with no frame interpolation, which would then automatically be a duration of 1.25 seconds.
For example, in Premiere or Resolve you simply select the 30fps clip in your bin and type in the 24fps frame rate, then the duration is automatically changed to be longer.
The idea is that there is no rendering or processing. It's simply playing every frame of a clip on the timeline, regardless of duration change.
