Macbook Air 2018 13" Crashes when F3 or F4 pressed.

Watch question

I have experienced some weird crashes lately - It happens sometimes when F3 or F4 is pressed and when I opens .pdf files.

The screen often just turn half black and the trackpad freezes.

It restarts as if it was just doing a normal command restart with the apple logo and a progress bar.

I have already tried to factory reset the Mac and update to lates versions but the same problem still occurs.

First boot into Safe Mode according to How to use safe mode on your Mac and test to see if the problem persists. Reboot normally and test again.

NOTE: Safe Mode boot can take up to 3 - 5 minutes as it's doing the following;

• Verifies your startup disk and attempts to repair directory issues, if needed

• Loads only required kernel extensions (prevents 3rd party kernel/extensions from loading)

• Prevents Startup Items and Login Items from opening automatically

• Disables user-installed fonts

• Deletes font caches, kernel cache, and other system cache files

If the problem persists try this: Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support.
