Should the updates drain battery than the older ones or they should improve it?

I experienced the same problem, both on my iPhone XR & latest iPad Pro.
my 13 automatically switches off at any random time and enters a restart loop until I connect the charger
Then contact Apple to have your broken hardware repaired under warranty.
