iphone 13 pro battery question

Hey everyone, just upgraded my 7+ to iphone 13 pro. Having such a bad battery life on my old phone, I thought I would have a very good one on my new iphone 13 pro. I didn't restore my data or anything, i just downloaded some apps and logged in to my accounts and started using it as if it's a new device. Didnt upload any of my old stuff on this phone. I haven't put my sim card in and throughout the day I just watch tiktoks and surf on social media in total of 4-4.5 hrs where from 100% in the morning, i end up with %25. Is this normal? I am only using wifi as my sim card isn't in yet, didn'T upload or restore any of my old data and based on the reviews I watched on youtube, everyone seems to be getting 7-8 hours. Can someone tell me what's wrong with it? Should I return it?

in total of 4 hours of usage, is it really normal for it to go down from 100 to 25 in 4-4.5 hrs of usage?

Really depends on what you're doing. There are some apps that are power hungry depending on what's going on. The display brightness doesn't necessarily show up as using battery power.

It's still a small battery, but most complex battery powered electronic devices do all sorts of things to reduce power consumption including shutting down sections that aren't needed at the time. It depends on what the apps you're using need.
