Sinhala unicode errors

There are some bugs that I identified in the Sinhala language Unicode for Mac OS! It seems that I cannot type the following phrase in the correct order. This is related to the default Sinhala font "Iskoola Pota". This is the automatic font that is selected when selecting the keyboard! For example, typing in Unicode the following letters ක - ර් - ම, this should be displayed as කර්ම. But instead, the default font displays this as - කමර්. This is really frustrating. And when viewing any document which has the font "Iskoola Pota" this issue is repeated and it becomes very difficult to comprehend! Is there a fix for this issue, please?

macOS version - Monterey 12.2

Microsoft Word 2019 - 16.57 (22011101)

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.2

Nothing to do with Apple, as this font does not come from them, as others have mentioned. The Word forum is at

There have been some different Apple Sinhala bugs in the past, I don't know if they were fixed

This sounds like a problem with Microsoft Word. Iskoola Pota is a Word font.

Try to reproduce the problem using the built-in TextEdit. If you see the same problem there, then it is an Apple problem. If you only see the error in Word, then it is a Word problem.
