WI-Fi icon starts up twice on my Mac mini progress bar. Is this something to be concerned about?

I just started noticing that the wi-fi Icon on the top progress bar on my Mac mini screen will start, then sometimes goes dark, a couple other icons load and it starts up again. You see the "waves" acquire the the wi-fi. It doesn't happen all the time but I'll see this a few times a week. The router is about 18 months old and it belongs to my provider. I restart it and the modem almost weekly.

Earlier this evening I was doing something on the computer that didn't involve the internet, then when I went to Safari, it wouldn't load the Apple start page. I clicked it a few times and was told I wasn't not he Internet. I clicked the Wi-Fi icon a few times and restated Safari and was connected.

This is unusual behavior for a pretty reliable M1 Mac mini that's just turning a year old. I behave myself online and don't point my browser to any porn, nor do I illegally download any music, movies or software. Should I be concerned about malware?

Sounds like you may have multiple Wi-Fi Locations setup in your Network preference.

see > How to use network locations on your Mac - Apple Support

If so, remove all but 1 of Wi-Fi Locations and then if you are still having trouble,
