iPad with 15.3.1 iOS update load e-mails very slowly

I have had the same problem for the last 3 weeks. Sometimes all my emails open right away. Other times it takes about a minute or two. When I leave my mail box to go to another app and come back, same thing...a white page that takes forever to load. I do not have this problem with my iPhone. My iPad was purchased 15 months ago, so it isn't old.

Same issue on my iPad Pro! Blank mail screen for minutes waiting for it to load email accounts, and once loaded if you select ANY link in email, and return to email screen is blank again and have to wait. Also, corrupted wireless keyboard. So, thanks Apple, you've destroyed iPad's usability for email and typing. Turning a new iPad into a useless brick except to look at pictures (as long as they're not in your email!). Seriously considering rolling back to last good software version.....unless you've locked us out of that too! FIX NOW!!

I’m having the same issue on my iPad Pro but not on my iPhone. The mail screen is blank when I open it and takes several minutes to load emails. Once loaded, if I follow a link in any email & then try to return to the mail screen, the screen is again blank & takes a very long time to load the emails. Extremely frustrating!! Have tried all recommendations to fix and nothing has helped.

Apple Mail app, but sadly it hasn’t lasted - it broke again this morning!

On the phone anyway, you just delete it. Then go to the store and re-download it. Then for Gmail accounts go to settings and turn back on the mail part of your mail accounts. I can't see how it would be any different for an iPad. Perhaps reboot and re-try it?

I have lots of memory on my iPad, so that is not the issue. The reason why I like my iPad is that I can access my mail quickly. My computer is too slow. In the future, I may rethink buying an iPad if this continues. Samsung makes a great tablet.

One workaround is that I downloaded the Google gmail app which is quick .

However, I only get gmail and I cannot see my outlook mail. I have had 3 iPads in the past, never had this issue.

Apple, get your act together!

You should be able to get your Outlook mail too, if you set it up - I get my talktalk mail as well as gmail through the gmail app

Id be interested to know if your apple Mail works better now it is alongside gmail app - mine does

I have this issue also and have followed all steps without resolving the problem. Has Apple any resolution to this problem yet?

Same issue here every time I want to get mail I shut down and it’s fixed until it isn’t which is typically very soon. Help apple.

When are you going to fix everyone's email issues??? This is getting really old fast... A lot faster than our emails are opening up! On every update anymore it's nerve racking wondering what is going to be messed up now. Shouldn't more testing be done before releasing these updates? I've done everything that you say to do and nothing works. It's funny non of this happened until your updates! Please please please fix!!!

Just updated to 15.5 and it didn’t help. Now the app crashes every time. I use my ipad almost solely outside of work and I hope Apple gets this fixed soon so I’m not forced to go back to my old Windows laptop…

Same problem with emails opening at snails pace too, I had held off updating for a couple of months as I dread what is going to happen. Also since installing IOS 15:5 at the bottom of the inbox area a new icon has appeared, the one on the right. When I am checking emails small icons appear marked, new massage, inbox, new message, any ideas how to remove or close this down please, it’s mighty annoying! Thank you
