Every since I updated my iPad with the latest 15.3.1 iOS update, my email is taking an extremely long time to load or sometimes the mail app just closes. I even turned it off and on but it did not resolve the issue. Any way to fix this?

If the Mail app on your iPad is slow to load and is closing unexpectedly, follow these steps to start:
• Close and reopen the app
Force the app to close. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.
• Restart your device
Restart your iPhone or restart your iPad. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.

If this continues, does this happen with every Wi-Fi network you connect your iPad with or only when it’s connected to a specific network? If something else is happening, please provide more details and if you are getting an error of some kind.

This is a problem that needs to be fixed. I thought it was just my machine until I read that many others are having this issue as well! Please fixe this!

I’m having the same issue but, oddly enough, only on my iPad not my iPhone. 🤷🏻♀️
+ 1. Moved to Outlook and Gmail apps. Still rather mail.app but if the fix does not come it is impossible to come back to it.
I am having this same issue on my iPad. My iPhone is loading emails very quickly.
This was fixed for me yesterday with the iOS 15.5 upgrade. So far I believe it is working normally again.
I can’t open mail at all now since upgrading to 15.5
Apple has become as useless as Microsoft. Btw, as a network engineer (retired) the wifi network as an issue is a lame excuse. Funny but only my iPad Pro has this issue, my iPhone works fine.

I am having the same issue on my ipad. Updated to the latest software and this hasn’t helped any. Emails are loading quickly on my iphone. Really frustrating. Please fix this!
