Deleted Music App and files but files still showing?

Hello

Freeing up some storage for movies I looked to delete all the music files on my iPad (ios15.0.2).

Whilst it says I now have no downloaded songs in various places, it is is showing I have 3gb in iPad Storage next to the Music App.

I've deleted the music app (not offloaded) and the app is still showing with the icon greyed out and an arrow to download, like I had offloaded it. Pic attached.

I need the space :-)

Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong!

Hi, MiWiHo,

Based on the screenshot you've shared, we would suggest taking the following steps next:

Restart your iPad: Restart your iPad - Apple Support
If the Music app still shows, and still shows as using up 3GB of space, try deleting All Songs from Settings > General > Storage > Music

Hi

Thanks for having a look at this.

No, it's not in the App Library.

I've no problem with the app being built in and not available to delete but still using 3gb of my 32gb storage is a problem. What else can I do?

Hello MiWiHo,

We'd confirm the app has been removed in the App Library, as well: Organize the Home Screen and App Library on your iPhone

Search for an app in the App Library

1. Go to the App Library.

2. Tap the search field, then enter the app that you're looking for.

3. Tap the app to open it.

If the issue persists after these steps, it's likely due to the fact that you cannot completely remove built-in apps on the iPhone. Some data will remain after being removed from the Home Screen.

Hi

Unfortunately, that didn't work. Screenshot is exactly as previous one shared. The Music icon isn't on the home screen but still appears with 3gb of data as shown.

Not sure what to do next?
