my old Apple id ( email ) got hacked. I had to create a new email and Apple ID. I did that.
my IPhone shows the new Apple ID. However when I try to update an app or download an app it tells me to put in my password for my old Apple ID. Which I do not understand bc even now when I got on Apple for help it immediately pulled up my new Apple ID.
how do I fix this?

For this issue the better thing is to remove app from
setting > general > storage iPhone
and chose an app then remove it.. do not delete because you don’t want to lose you data
re download it from the App Store and it will be updated
Log into your account in the App Store/iTunes and you should be able to change/verify it there.
