phone replacement

I am taking a secondhand 12 mini from my friend it has 10.5 months of warranty left. it is black in color I want to get it exchanged to purple or red color if it's possible that would be really helpful.

No. There is no exchange available.

Your only options are trade it in or sell it privately and use the money to buy a new phone.

Then sell it privately for as much as you can get or pay less for it. But you cannot exchange it.

Not Possible. Your friend had 14 days after purchase to exchange or return the iPhone. It appears that 6 weeks have elapsed since purchase and that iPhone cannot be exchanged or returned.
