After updating the Apple Watch 7 to WhatchOS 8.5 it stopped fast charging with Belkin BoostCharge PRO. It used to charge very fast and now is very very very slow (about 5% in one hour). Any idea of how to solve this issue?

Solving the issue is up to Apple and Belkin. However as a work around until a fix to WatchOS is available try the following;
Place watch on Belkin Charger, wait a few seconds till it switches to charge mode (Green Watch Face)
Remove it from charger , wait a second till it flips to normal watch mode then replace on charger.
I've been doing this for awhile (weeks) and it works consistently to allow fast charging on a Series 7 watch , and Belkin Fast (Watch) Chargers. Belkin has also mentioned this recently on their support Twitter.
FWIW, like many others have said I can also confirm that the Belkin charger doesn’t charge my watch much if at all while the new model Apple charging cable fast charges fine.
Looks like the latest 8.6b2 fixed the issue! Hopefully this gets pushed to a real release ASAP.

This was fixed in the last watchOS update.
Also having the same issue. I swapped the Belkin at apple a few days ago and it worked properly for about 10 min then went to slow charge again. I noticed it also creates an excess amount of heat when placed on the belkin. 100% an issue since the software update. Frustrating as the belkin was meant to replace the abundance of charge cords. Hopefully apple fixes this soon.
I don’t think it’s just belkin, I have an off brand fast charger 3-1 (bought on eBay) that worked perfectly up to when I updated to 8.5, it’s doing the same thing, it runs on 20w plug and as far as I can tell it was working just as well as the branded version, I still get fast charging on my phone so the 3-1 isn’t broken
No! This is NOT isolated to Belkin chargers! I have multiple third party Apple Watch chargers that have always charges my Apple Watch series 5 without issue. Since 8.5 they all still charge my watch, HOWEVER, what now happens is that while charging, the Watch intermittently emits a ping sound, the face wakes up, then goes dark. This lasts for as long as the Watch is on the charger. When I put the Watch on my Belkin 3 in 1charger, purchased in the Apple store, as well as into an Apple wall plug, the issue goes away. I’ve ran this test multiple time with the same results. I have literally, hundreds of dollars invested in various third party 3 in 1chargers and this is unacceptable! You can’t just brick a charger with an update and say, “Just use an Apple charger”! That’s total BS!
Hate to be the bearer of bad news but the nightstand mode trick worked for 2/3 days for me then stopped working. :(
The only method that has consistently worked for me is monitoring the charge to see if the % goes up and if it does not, take it of the charger and wait for it to realize it's no longer on the charger then place back on.

Completely broken fast charge / or even regular charge with belkin Pro. I bought it FROM apple and its a paper weight at this point. We need a fix , this isnt a belkin issue its an apple issue w/ the latest OS. Was working perfectly fine before this.
The question is it only started happening after the watchOS update. It looks like a problem with the update and not with the charger…
Some folks are saying if you remove it from the charger and then put it back it helps. This hasn’t been the case for me on my Apple Watch 7

It works well with the Apple charger.
With the belkin Boost Pro it is extremely slow: after 1 hour charging it increased only 10%
it was working well before the update to watchOS 8.5
The belkin charger still works well with the iPhone.
It’s a noticeable problem, Apple needs to fix the bug, as the charging accessory we use is one of those sold directly from the official Store, albeit third-party. On the other hand, until before the update everything worked very well.
