As soon as I plug in my earpods, it give a BEEP sound for second and then they do not work as if nothing is plugged in to the iphone. Sound comes from the speakers even tho my earpods are plugged in. They are not broken from the outside as i have thoroughly analysed. Last time i used, they were perfectly working but now ahhhh

You are referring to the wired headphones, correct?
If so, check the charging port for lint or other debris.
If no help, try this:
1) Open the Control Center
2) Long press on the music controls
3) Select the output option (little up-arrow with circles)
4) Select EarPods
