After recent update of 15.4 in iphone11 I am facing this problem. When I hit share button on any app (photo, document,notes) app freezes and doesn’t work further. I can close app forcefully but that doesn’t solve problem. After this phone ring tone goes silent automatically. No ringtone no vibration nothing. All starts working fine after I restart till I hit a share button. If I hit share button the cycle continues. It all stated after 15.4 update

On the advice of Apple support, I took a backup and totally reset my phone (by connecting to iTunes on my laptop and doing a reset). The OS is also the latest (15.6.1). YET THE PROBLEM PERSISTS.
That’s true. I can’t believe Apple has not realized that there is a serious bug in iOS that needs to be fixed asap.

thanks for earlier reply. It worked for some days I.e. after 15.4.1 update. But problem started again since last few days. While I press share button on any app, it hangs. Tried to restart the app after force closure. But not get any caller tone for incoming calls. Any solution for this?
I have the same problem & in fact facing this problem ever since upgrading to iOS 15.4.1 version. Everything used to work fine before. Please advise on how to resolve this. My device is iPhone12 Mini.
I am also facing this issue.. its now across all apps and if i try to share the app freezes. I lose all my chain of thoughts while reading if i try to share. The only way out seems to be to restart my iphone but the problem starts again within a day itself. An urgent fix is needed for this bug.
I have the same problem and last two updates have not helped at all. I upgraded from 12 Mini to 13 Pro as well coz this problem makes the phone unusable. we share so many things everyday.. pls bring the update asap
Exact issue here. Started with my new iPhone 13 pro, continued after multiple hard resets. Apple even sent me a brand new 13 pro to resolve the issue and it came back after a few days. Not sure how this is possibly after both a software and hardware refresh.
I am facing the same issue on iPhone 11 since past few IOS releases. rebooting the phone helps for few hours.. this is very frustrating and I am thinking to sell off my iPhone as my productivity is impacted.
even IOS reinstall didnt help. Not sure if Apple has acknowledged this issue yet.
WTF is Apple doing about this problem. Are they waiting for 10,000 thumbs up to this post before they release a fix. Shameful for a company like Apple!
I have iPhone 13, always keep it updated with the latest OS version.
The solution only works briefly after restarting the phone and then it returns soon after.
Sharing freezes any app where I try it, be it Photos, WhatsApp, Chrome, Safari, Google Maps, etc.

Looks like Apple is not giving any attention to it. If we can create such multiple questions for the same issue will apple give some attention to it? I will try to create new question. As this seems to be already marked as solved, so no one might be looking at it.
Maybe I’m overthinking this, but how do you turn share off on the apps you don’t use? I also have signal but use it often too, but I rarely share anything on it; so I’d like to try that stop share approach too; just unsure how to do it. Thanks!
I highly suspect if it is related to work profile. Each time, when I have freeze issue, I restart the phone. It works for the next 2 days before the issue starts reappearing. If it is workprofile issue, it wouldn't have allowed me to share inspite of restarting the phone isn't it?

You have to force close the app and then only restarting the phone helps.
I believe as soon as you get new app updates the same issue starts all over again. Not limited to any app, happens to any app.
Is this problem recognized by Apple?
