Maps not showing traffic when route is created

Hello,

I have an iPhone X on iOS 15.4.1 that's been encountering some issues with showing traffic on maps. I currently have it set to "Driving" in the map tab and it shows the traffic color indicators just fine when looking at the map. But once I create a route the traffic colors disappear and there is no indication of upcoming traffic when I'm driving. Is this part of a new update or am I just missing something?

I've tried restarting the phone, allowing location services on maps, and attempted using Wi-Fi and cellular data without success.

I have the 12 mini and I have the same issue. It’s really frustrating and frankly I’m gonna start using other apps because I need to know if traffic is completely stopped or not.

Same thing!!! iPhone 11 and ios 15.4.1!! Please update this is horrible I don’t know alternate routes to take because it never shows traffic or delays anymore

Mine randomly came back yesterday. I didn’t do anything. Just started working again. I’ll take it!

Same here. No traffic in Apple Maps. Google is fine. Interesting that an apple app doesn’t work on an apple device while google’s is fine.

Like everyone here my 12 mini shows no traffic info in any mode. Not in navigation or on the map.

Update: I don't know how or why but traffic is back to normal for me today. Even though I did restart my phone in an attempt to fix this originally, I did another restart yesterday for another reason and boom traffic is back.
