iPad Air 5 battery is draining fast. After watching Netflix, about 2 and a half hours, my battery was already down to 40% from a charge of 100%. I have noticed that the life of the battery did not seem to match my last iPad Air 3 since I received it. Is this OS related?

Maybe this will help someone else, in my case it turned out to be a bad sensor in the ipad air that caused the battery to drain very fast. I think it was the internal barometer. The diagnostic tool at the Apple store was able to find. Anyhow, a good test to see is even turning off wifi and not having the screen turned on - the ipad would still use up most of the battery in a day. For a frame of reference, a new ipad air 5th gen should be able to go multiple days with normal use - hours of browsing, watching videos etc..
Just got mine on 3 days ago....nothing running except the battery charge continues to go down rapidly. Not happy

There is no battery health option in an iPad. Apple doesn’t put that option in an item with a non replaceable battery. Screenshot iPad Air gen 5, iOS 16.2

I cannot find battery health as you indicated.
There is no "battery health" indicator option on iPads, or any apple product with non-replaceable batteries
i bought my iPad Air 5 in Sat, May 20th, it’s May 23rd so I haven’t had it long at all. I was doing to some studying at full battery, 20 minutes into studying, it’s already at 85%.
