Hi. I’ve updated my iPhone 13 Pro Max & IPad Air (4th Gen) to the newest iOS , however, I’ve noticed continuous difficulties in connecting to the Wi-Fi ( either hotspot or house router ), any help please ?

Fix for me:
Settings -> Wifi -> i (next to the network name) -> Configure DNS -> Manual
* Remove router's ip (192.168.0.1 in my case)
* Added Google's DNS server: 8.8.8.8
VPN was not the issue (perhaps it is for some). After the iOS update, my phone couldn't use my router for DNS (other devices and computers work w/o any issues). This appears to be an Apple incompatibility introduced w/ the last update.
You may want to replace 8.8.8.8 with your ISP's DNS servers.

We are not talking about an Ios Update wich has ben out for dozens of years.
If IOS 15.3.1 would make the user vulnerable to Hacking, Apple would force them to Upgrade.
I also saw that you are suggesting many ppl to delete VPN. If they were using a VPN perfectly fine bevor updating, why should they delete/ deactivate their VPN after the Update?
If you Buy a car with a GPS build inside and it suddenly stops wokring, dose the manufacture suggest to use ur Phone insted ?
Its sure e temporary solution but not an error on the User side.

I have no VPN App, I can only see VPN & Device Management in settings, and nothing is configured. My wife has been complaining that she has to manually connect to the wifi every time when it used to reconnect automatically. After I updated my iPad to 15.4.1 I started experiencing exactly the same thing. In fact in the time taken to write this it has dropped the wifi once again. My wifi signal is strong throughout the house and all other non Apple devices connect fine.
I experience the same issue on my oldie 8plus, after updating to 15.4.1 WiFi and cellular is not reliable anymore. The same thing happened in different places - at home, at work, at my friends place. Androids and computers working fine, but my iPhone is rather a brick now in terms of access to the Internet... 🙆♀️🤬seriously annoying
Couldn’t agree more. My wife has an android smart for and I also have smart tv as well as IPTV, and they all work just fine with the same router. I was really thing of buying a new modem/router but when I tested the connection speed on android phones the all comme back strong. APPLE NEEDS TO FIX ASAP PLEASE
I am having similar issues. I tried to network reset, airplane mode, soft reset... after the first reset i was able to achieve 120 up 3 down... but has degraded seriously immediately after that consistently getting < 10 down and 10 up. What gives?!
also facing the same issue. its ridiculous, after updsting new software hotspot is not working.
There is a problem - cell connectivity is also less reliable. Please diagnose and issue a fix. It is 100% 15.4.1 related.
it makes no difference. I use a vpn, my daughter doesn’t..
and indeed, cell connectivity is less consistent too.
When I got done with the update, now I can’t turn on the WiFi. It comes up in settings but is Grayed out how to fix?!

Happening to me with iPhone 13. Same exact symptoms 100% after I installed this latest update.
That isn’t the problem, auto join is on. My phone connects to the Wi-Fi it just doesn’t work until I turn it off and then back on.
No, I have never used a VPN.
I got the similar issue as u did since i bought i12pro early last year…
Data is not working when the wifi is not turning off.
