I had this same problem. I just talked to an Apple Support agent and then their senior advisor and they pretty much just said that you need to download a few at a time in order for it to work and there's no way to fix it. On my computer, I wasn't able to download more than 30 at a time which seems ridiculous, especially since they list a limit of 1,000 photos being downloaded at once on iCloud. I have over 9k photos to download so it will take forever to get those downloaded. Perhaps the limit is intended to make it more difficult to keep your photos outside of iCloud.
That’s exactly what I did. It works but takes a lot of time.
Hi, it might not help all of you but in my case it worked to do it little by little. I wasn't able to download a lot of photos at once, but 20-25 at a time worked :)
Does anyone have a resolution for this problem?
Apple, esto es un escandalo.
Here's an update. You can airdrop to your mac or use snapdrop.net for pc. I also realized that videos take up a lot of space so if you click on pics, you can download more files. Hope this helps.
I'm having the same issue attempting to download photos from icloud. Not being able to access the pictures you take is not acceptable. I'm about done with apple.
