Hulu and netflix video not streaming

On chrome and safari which are both fully updated. I can see the video previews on their main pages but when I try to play a video the audio plays but the screen is black.

Streaming Video All of a sudden I'm unable to see video across multiple streaming websites and multiple browsers. I have tried Safari, Chrome and Firefox. In all cases, the video will play, I can hear the sound, but the screen is either all white or all black depending on the browser. I have tried this with Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Disney+ and Paramount+. I have tried installing all updates, restarting the computer, and clearing caches, but nothing seems to work. I'm able to stream from these same providers on my iPad and phone, just not my MacBook Air (2015). Any thoughts?

Streaming services not working (Besides Youtube) I've tried across multiple streaming services, Disney+, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and none of them are working correctly, except Youtube. What happens is the audio works perfectly fine but the video is just black, except for ads on Prime. I can see all the video controls and I can see video in the scrub bar but nothing actually displays. I've tried turning off all my extensions and clearing cookies and all that jazz but I'm having no luck. TIA

Netflix and Hulu won't stream stream on AppleTV 4k One of my two AppleTV 4k devices have stopped being able to stream Netflix and Hulu programming at all. The other experiences periodic issues. It is fine on my older, non-4k device. Streaming is fine on other apps such as ABC, NBC, FOX, CW, AMC, etc. It feels like the "play stream" trigger/functionality is failing. I have restored them to default, all software is up to date. You can load the show listings and navigate without issue, however when you attempt to watch something, you get a spinning red image in Netflix that freezes after a few seconds and it's a silver/gray spinner in Hulu that freezes after a few seconds. Hitting Menu takes you back and you can once again navigate. However, there is no way to stream from either 4k device. I have tried via WiFi and ethernet. Same issue. Connected to 300/30mbps connection, so there is plenty of bandwidth to stream (and it works for all others). Again, this only affects Netflix and Hulu. I found another post about this, but it was locked and required creation of this new thread. Anyone have a solution yet?

I'm having the same problem and I can't figure out how to fix it. It seems to be a MacBook issue, because Hulu works correctly on my TV/Roku device. I have tried everything re: updating Chrome, clearing browser cache, etc.

Sorry the Netflix advice is not helpful - my Chrome is already updated.
