Today Screen Photo Widget stuck 'no content available'

(New iPhone SE 3rd gen, iOS 15.4.1) I see this question has been asked a lot, but no useful answer seems posted. I've had the phone a month, and there are 10 photos in my albums, 4 marked as 'favorites'. I've left the phone on WiFi and power overnight several times, but nothing is getting synced into the 'For You' folder, so the widget stays empty.

I can't find anything in any settings that would interfere. How do I get photos loading into that widget?

Hi, BlueKatKLJ

This feature is automated. You may not have enough photos for it to populate anything in the "For You" section; however that is speculation on our part. Memories and other similar automated albums tend to sort large amounts of photos from a specific date, time frame, or location. With only 10 photos, there may not be enough information for this feature to work.

To get a more definitive answer, we'd recommend reaching out to Apple directly to see if they can look into this with you further. Apple Support

Cheers.

Still looking for an answer on this. Mom's 'identical' phone updates the photo widget and alternates between her few favorites every few days.

Mine has never populated the 'for you' folder in 5+ weeks.

I cannot find any settings or anything different between our phones that should matter, so I am very frustrated about this 'useless' photo widget.

Any other suggestions?
