Cannot parse response

Run EtreCheck and post the report here.

      Click “Free Download” button,  open Downloads folder, click on it to open, and then select ”Open”.

      Click on the bouncing  EtreCheck icon in the Dock.

      “Choose a problem” from the popup menu box, and then “Start EtreCheck” in the dialog.

      Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” .

      Paste it into the reply.

From the report:

" Unsigned files - There are unsigned software files installed. These files could be old, incompatible, and cause problems. They should be reviewed.

System modifications - There are a large number of system modifications running in the background.

x86-only Apps - This computer has x86-only apps might not work on future versions of the operating system.

Please try to cleanup.

I use a Mac with similar configuration and a LaCie external drive from Apple store for Backup.

But I use it with Time Machine.

You could try removing these files and see what happens if you are not actively using those applications .

EtreCheck is a free software specially designed by EtreSoft for Apple support Community members.

Keep it updated and has other functions like removal of malware.

"Cannot parse response" usually caused by third party website data or third party software.
