My question is why is it not connected on the internet error even though my ethernet and wifi is working properly, i tried restarting it, unplugging/restarting my router. Its still the same outcome. Please help 😢

That is too big a jump. 6 operating systems ! Typically 2 macOS is much safer and doable approach.
Get to at least El Capitan if not High Sierra first. Stair step your way up
verify you are using the Safari browser to download/initiate the macOS links.

If necessary reboot into Safeboot mode an launch the installer

I got iMac late 2013, and tried to upgrade from OS maverick to MacOs Catalina. Able to download the MacOs Catalina but whenever i tried to install it, theres always a flash Error internet need to be connected?
