FCPx Failing to Export on Mac mini M1 2020 - System Running out of Memory

Same problem as many other FCPx users. When exporting a project an error message appears stating the system has run out of memory and needs to quit applications. I’m unable to export projects more than 5min longs.

I've tried deleting preferences

I've tried reinstalling

I've removed Chrome

However, I can connect the same project to my 2017 MacBook Pro and export with no problem.

Mac mini 2018 or later

There are a number of issues that are apparent from the report

You have malware.

Run Etrecheck again and follow the instructions for removing the malware.

If Etrecheck can’t remove it, download the free version of MalwareBytes to do it.

You have Chrome and its keystone daemons. These hog the system video toolbox and cause video applications to fail.

See https://chromeisbad.com for why this is and how to completely uninstall.

After that it is necessary to delete and reinstall FCP.

There are other issues but do take care of these two right away, then post an updated report.
