Troubleshooting Scam Messages:
Three Thoughts:
A. Use Malwarebytes Mobile Security:
The free version blocks popups. Read the following post to see how to use this software: Blocked numbers - Apple Community
B. Modify your Credentials:
If you suspect activity issues, and interacted with it an any form, then modify the you credentials:
If phishing...
C. Report this to Apple:
Have a Screenshot of this? Forward a screenshot of this as an attachment to Apple using this eMail address: reportphishing@apple.com. In the comments pane, inform Apple of what the attachment is all about: an eMail containing an attachment of a phishing scam. Use my User Tip: Using the Photos App to Report Scams: - User Tips
Are you saying the message you received from this scam artist was shown as being from you?
Scammers only send things out on SMS texts or make calls from spoofed phone numbers. I received a phishing call today supposedly from a local blood bank but it was actually a medicare supplement scam. There is nothing you can do about that. And only agree to meet with the person after you contact the police and they agree to it.
Hi yes its in spanish but its creepy. But yes its as i had sent it but i didnt. So we are all creeped out I just changed all my passwords and i googled something about spoofing but Im not sure if someone had hacked my phone or mabye my wifi. What do you think?

No, it has nothing to do with your phone, if you did not respond to their text you don’t need to change anything. Spoofing jus means there is software/services available to mask out a phone number and make it appear as another number. Malwarebyttes cannot do anything about it.
If you keep your iOS version current, have not jailbroken your iPhone nor sideloaded any apps, you have strong passcodes/passwords you do not share I think you are fine. But report it to the local authorities.
Also. SMS is part of the cellular network.
It has nothing to do with your phone.
Verizon was the last carrier I heard about having issues recently with their SMS service.

So the green are as if there my texts. And yes i would not meet with the person unless the police and the whole 9 yards were there.
Okay. What advice can you give me. Is it a hacker or what do you think it is.
Thank you
What if it wasnt up to date with the latest software. Do i have to reset the phone or just update it?
Just update it.
