Activation/Icloud locked out of my iPad

So I purchased an iPad 4 or 5 years ago from my buddy Kaleb Q. Shortly after someone wore a wire on me for selling coca and I had to go to prison for a few years. When I was away. Kaleb died in a head on collision with a trucker on the highway.... Anyways, I went to get on my iPad and it says its activation locked or iCloud locked, and now its saying apple. id is disabled. I had a bill of sale that was hand written but I can't find much more and the kid is gone now I really need to use my iPad for work and stuff but I can't... It may not even be in Kalebs iCloud it may be my old one and I forgot it,... (both names start with "K" so.... "k******@iCloud.com isn't helpful. Im at a total loss of what to do can anyone help?.
