Macbook Pro M1 2021 freezing

My new M1 macbook pro freezes very often.

It happens when I'm watching videos on Youtube / Netflix (the audio will keep playing but the screen will stop for a good 10 seconds)

It happens when I'm using Google Chrome for web surfing (the cursor will stop moving entirely for 5 - 10 seconds)

It also happens when I'm using Adobe programs where the cursor will stop moving.

It happens at least twice a day and I use the computer pretty much everyday so I've almost gotten used to this very weird bug.

It has happened from the very beginning.

I was hoping it was just an issue from transferring data/settings from my old macbook and waited a few days - and now I'm past the 14 day return and the problem hasn't gone away.

I'm confused and really disappointed why a brand new macbook pro would freeze so much.

I've never had any similar issues with my old macbook pro from 2014.

From what I read in forums and support page, people just keep saying not to use Chrome...but I have these issues even when I'm not using Chrome...

Is there any real solution to this????

To get a good look at your System config. and reveal conflicts or issues, you can download/run this trusted utility https://etrecheck.com Allow the Full Disk Access for best results.
