2018 mac mini. No errors. Download update -> restart at prompt -> about this mac -> 12.3.1 -> software update: "an update is available for your mac. macos monterey 12.5.1" -> update now -> download update -> restart at prompt -> no errors-> about this mac -> 12.3.1
i've tried four or five times now, same result. no errors. what?
Mac mini, macOS 12.3
-connection: wired to router
-total router connections: 3
-vpn: none
-antivirus: none
-safe mode: update failed
sounds very much the same. it's a huge pain going into recovery mode to update the system every single time is not a solution.

was that in the software updates preferences panel, or in the updater app? i've tried it in the preferences pane with no luck. i'll try running the installer one more time.
