Can't Hide iPhone photos in "Hidden" album iOS 16

i cant seem to hid pics in my hidden albumn, and in addition the photos i put in there in ios 15 are not there. the hidden folder is empty.

Unable to hide synced photos on iOS 16 I just updated to iOS 16 (from 15.6.1) on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. All the photos that were in my hidden folder are now not hidden and it is apparently not possible to hide them anymore. I sync photos from my PC to use as wallpapers. I would rather they didn't show up in the normal albums and library view so I hide them. I use a Siri shortcut to pull images at random from those hidden photos. It appears that with the iOS 16 update I can no longer hide photos that have been synced to the phone from iTunes-only photos in the Recents album. I even tried deleting them all and resyncing from iTunes but they still can't be hidden. Am I missing something? Why would the capability be taken away?

Hidden Photos Option Missing in iOS 16 Hey there, I was trying to hide my photos by adding them to the Hidden folder, but I no longer have the option. (There is exactly one photo in this folder) When I press Share on any photo, there is no option "Hide". Pressing "Add to Album" does not showcase the hidden album, and pressing "Edit Actions" again does not offer the Hide option. I have iPhone 11 Pro with iOS 16. I have checked the settings, and the hidden folder is on, yet I cannot hide any new pictures. Has this happened to anyone else and can anyone help? 😞 TIA [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Hidden photos Why is it SOOOO difficult to find hidden photos on my iPhone? It’s enabled under settings but there’s NOTHING under photos or at the bottom of albums. There is NO utilities folder to be found anywhere. I’m getting sick of iPhone — easy to hide but impossible to find.

Unfortunately the guys from Apple support don't even know if/why it is a new feature.

They stupidly keep explaining that the option has been moved to ...

Not true.. My iPhone recently upgraded to 16.3 iso and I don’t have the ability to hide photos anywhere .. I looked and tried everything !
