iPhone 14 Notifications / text sounds not working¡

Tried all of the above, still no sound. my husband & I just upgraded to iPhone 15 Plus. He ALWAYS gets his sound notification when he gets a text (message). I NEVER have. I want to. We compared settings and they seem to be the same but I don't get the sound on messages or calendar or any app. So now what do I try? When I swipe downward from corner, I see Sound is turned completely on BUT it has the bluetooth insignia next to it. I think I should be hearing the sounds in my hearing aids since they are always connected. But, again, I don't get any sound notifications! Help.

I'm having the same problem (no text message sound notifications) with iPhone 14 Pro Max, and associated costs are building as the dysfunction has gone from sporadic to plainly not working. I triple checked settings and tried all solutions here. Apple if you're listening, please. . .

Same for me, ever since I had this phone 3 weeks ago, I have tried absolutely everything but still don’t get notifications when I want them but as soon as I unlock; I get bombarded by dozens of notifications that should have come when I didn’t need to use the phone. Still no sound though and all settings are correct but I have no longer and option to change the sound

I had my iphone 8 yes iphone 8 loved it never gave problems untill I dropped it in the water. I so did not want to spend 1000 on a new phone but I had to iphone 14 pro max. I have only had a few months and like everyone my kids text me I don't hear any messages coming through. I've had emergency text messages I don't receive untill hours later. Paid way too much money for this phone to have problems already. If you can't fix then offer a discount or partial refund or replace this is bs

Mine is doing the same thing and I am supposed to start using my iPhone with my Omni pod this is getting annoying. I miss calls and everything. I need my phone to ring in when on Lock Screen. Only get sound notifications when my phone is active.

I miss most of my text messages I see them hours later. I miss calls because my phone won't ring. I have too constantly keep an eye on my phone when waiting for important calls or text messages. This needs to be fixed or replace our phones. Charge up the *** for this phone but doing nothing about this.

Yes same here, purchased iPhone 14 Pro and have never been more dis satisfied in a phone. 5G DOES NOT WORK, that is the biggest lie ever told, save yourself money and frustration. Second notification alerts all the same when and if they even work. I refuse to call apple back after spending countless hours on the phone with them only to be treated like I have never owned a cell phone before. I am seriously considering going back to my iPhone X as it was the BEST phone I have ever had and take this 14 Pro and see how many pieces I can smash it into. Biggest waste of money and JUNK I have ever seen. I will NEVER buy another apple product as this is a joke !

I have exact the same issues, my iPhone 15 Pro with iOS 17.2.1, sometimes doesnt make notification-sounds.

this happens totally random, with different Apps.

i have called Apple Support as well, they have checked all standart sound settings but could not solve this problem.

and the have simply closed my ticket without solution.

if this is the way how Apple Support works, we will never get a solution.

btw. I dont understand, why this issue has more than 2100 „me to“ votes, but only 24 up votes….?

I have been experiencing this for 3+ years. I’ve spent well over 80 hours with Apple trying to troubleshoot. The best I got was someone to admit it wasn’t working as expected but nobody can explain it. Totally inconsistent. I’ve setup new phones without carrying anything over and still it happens. PLEASE FIX THIS GENIUSES!

While there is at least one person with a genius-level IQ (that I know of) who regularly posts in these forums, Apple doesn't. They also don't read here for feedback or suggestions. So, beyond whatever catharsis it affords you, yelling at Apple here won't accomplish much.

Thank you Tavaras98 I'm trying your suggestion for Text sounds not working..As I'm not computer or iphone literate. You were more help than the YAHOO at the TMoble store who are suppose to be Phone techs
