Active Directory Authentication Server Could Not be Contacted

It appears that Active Directory is broken in MacOS 13 Ventura. I have tried everything from flushing DNS cache to binding via Terminal. Nothing will allow the bind to my Active Directory Domain Controller. Directory Utility will not even allow connection to the bound AD server on another of my Macs. Note to anyone that requires authentication through AD do NOT update to Ventura. Anyone else having this problem?

Mac mini, macOS 13.0

I will try adding the Active Directory Domain Controller in the HOSTS file and report back. I did see some post on the web about adding the IP address and the DNS name to the HOSTS file but I did not want to make such a drastic update. It worked fine in MacOS 12 Monterey I was hoping it would just work on Ventura without any messing around. What could make Ventura work so differently than Monterey?
