I have the same problem connecting to the iMac after updating to MacOS Ventura with my Sony WH-XM5s. It appears as 'connected' via Bluetooth, but no audio can be heard.
I've tried:
- rebooting computer
- turning blue-tooth on/off
- turning headphone on/off
- updating headphone to newest firmware
- connecting/disconnecting headphone
Nothing has worked so far. It also didn't work with my iPhone.
After some tweaking, I reconnected the headphone via the Sony application, and also turned on/off some of the toggles in settings (ANC, ambient mode, record usage etc). Somehow, it worked afterwards (for both my phone and mac).
