eSIM not working on iPhone 13Pro Version 15.7

I have been using Airalo (eSIM app) for international travel over the past year. Since version 15.7 came out, I am unable to use the eSIMs anymore (with Airalo). Is there any chance of this being fixed? Looked into? It is a horrible problem for travel!

When I install the eSIM (as per instructions), it has worked in the past (prior to installing 15.7). Now, when I install, the eSIM does not work, when I check the eSIM Network (in Settings--->About--->Network), there is a message that says "Phone is not allowed".

Any help? Airalo has not been able to resolve. It appears to be a function/malfunction of the iPhone.

Hello urbanyetti,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities!

If we understand your post correctly, a third-party eSIM app that used to work in the past is now no longer working. We'd like to help!

Start here:

"Learn what to do if you can't set up an eSIM on your iPhone.

What is an eSIM?

An eSIM is a digital SIM that allows you to activate a cellular plan from your carrier without having to use a physical SIM.

Learn more about eSIM

What you need

* iPhone 14 models that are eSIM only can activate without a Wi-Fi network.

Follow these steps

Go to Settings > General > About and look for any numbers under EID. If there are no numbers, contact Apple Support.

After following each step below, open Control Center by swiping down from the upper-right corner of the screen. Check if your carrier appears in the status bar. If not, go to the next step.

  1. Turn Airplane Mode on and off.
  2. Go to Settings > Cellular and check if the number you're trying to activate is shown. If it is, turn off the line and then turn it back on again.
  3. Restart your device or devices.

If you still can't set up your eSIM, contact your carrier."

Lastly, since this is a third-party app, contact the developer if you still have issues, as they will know how their app works with iOS, and if an update is necessary:
