How to Disable iPhone Wallpaper Change from Lock Screen?

So apparently, I’m touching the Lock Screen too much/too long.

There is no way to turn this feature off at the moment, but you can send feedback directly to Apple here: Product Feedback - Apple

The feature to change the wallpaper on locked screen is annoying and unnecessary. I also hate the feature of pairing the Lock Screen & Background images. I have never and will never want them to be the same and it is so cumbersome to make them two different photos now. I don’t want to have to pick my already existing background every time I want to change my Lock Screen. Please change this!!

Seriously:

Dear Apple:

It is LITERALLY called a LOCK screen. You should be able to at LEAST configure it to disable anything on it because it is LOCKED. I don't want ANYTHING on my phone accessible when it is LOCKED except for the ability to UNLOCK it. The obsession with adding crap to the LOCK screen is to the point of being absurd. In any case, last night my phone decided to f'ing change the wallpaper in my pocket by way of my thigh pressing the screen because derp. (smdh).

That’s not my problem. The idea that I would want to change my wallpaper from the Lock Screen is absurd. But what makes it infuriating is how it keeps getting triggered to change by accident and so easily. I had a dynamic setup where my Lock Screen and wallpaper were before and after pictures. Now they’re gone forever because of the horrendous controls for this annoying feature. I took my phone out of my pocket and that alone completely destroyed what I had done. It’s not something I can replicate easily it required very careful positioning. I want this “feature” removed or at least the ability to turn it off. I will never want to quick swap my wallpaper NEVER! This is not a “feature” I would ever have even considered something that I would want let alone be a good idea to implement.

Yeah, I have never wanted to change my wallpaper, ever. It has zero importance to me. I realize the reason most people probably don’t have a problem with this stupid feature is that they have their phones password-protected so you can’t open the phone enough to change the wallpaper by accident. I would guess most of the people having problems don’t have a password like myself. So my phone screen is always vulnerable to being pushed. This happens to me 10 to 30 times a day. I’m going insane. Every update I hold my breath that they have let us disable this stupid feature.

It’s infuriating!

Agree with the rest. I don't care about changing the wallpaper. I do it maybe once per year. This feature is incredibly annoying because I'll grab my phone out of my pocket for a quick photo and the Lock Screen is half-changed. I've missed so many photos because of this useless "feature." Make it a toggle if there is anyone that actually wants to do this.

Actually, Apple doesn't read here in this user-to-user forum for feedback or suggestions. Use the link avrum33 provided to you. It's the best way to let Apple know what's important to you. Pass the link on to anyone else with concerns. The more people who submit feedback, the more likely it is that the issue will become something Apple deals with.
