Why do I see a red circle 🚫 when attempting to stream a video from rumble.com or other sites
I have the same issue. Streaming from my iPad Pro to my Apple TV. I can watch other apps on the Apple TV and stream YouTube but when I try to stream a video from a website I get the 🚫 symbol at the bottom left of the tv screen.
Change resolution on web browser from drop down in video screen. I hope this helps.
No. Since its from an app. Wpt tv (world Padel tour tv) Cant change resolution
Still broken, thanks for the continued silence Apple
Did you change resolution on the airplay?
And did you try putting it to 720?
Here what did it for me: manually select the resolution to 1080p in YouTube.
The AppleTV underscan feature didn't work.
you need to try switching resolutions on your source device, not the TV. That's what did it for me. Changed the resolution on YouTube on my phone, and it worked!
The video players on iOS 17 don't let you change the resolution from what I can see, can you take a screenshot of what you're referring to?
I’m having the same issue. I’ve changed the resolution and still no luck. Everything was working fine before the iOS and tv OS updates. Help Please!!!!
You need to make sure that your the video you are trying to play via airplay is not on auto format. It needs to be the same format as you Apple tv. This worked for me
