Why is iCloud syncing paused on my iPhone 13 mini?

"Settings > Tap your profile > iCloud > Under “Apps Using iCloud” tap “Show All” > Messages in iCloud > Sync Now" doesn't work for me.. nearly immediately it goes back to "Syncing Paused" after initiating "sync now".. :-(

I not only have a problem with iCloud not syncing, with no explanation other than "iCloud not syncing." I have a problem that the service I pay Apple for is not working and the solution is to go ask other people paying Apple for a solution rather than the company taking our money for the service that's not working.

thanks for the hint, it totally worked and seems actually self explanatory, now if Apple could just place a link in messages (or any other apps that may experience the same icloud sync pause)

Ive tried this solution but it wont let me now turn it back on again the syncing. Like literally u try and move it to green (on) and it wont go back on. So i guess in a way i fixed the syncing issues as now it isnt even trying. But now i have a new issue. I cnt turn it back on. I want it syncing…

Not helpful when the issue is syncing files not Messages.

It’s still intermittent for me. They need a simple “resume syncing” button.

No. Thinking about ditching Apple altogether. Nothing but bugs and downtimes lately.

Microsoft is a little better, but not much. OneDrive has syncing issues too, it synchronized for weeks and then all my files ended up in the recycle bin cause it had an error on the cloud side.

Called Apple support. Three different people had no explanation and fix. Sad.

I don’t show an option for turning the sync on or off, it does have a “sync now” option, and I keep hitting it but it just flips back to “sync paused”
