For whatever reasons, I only occasionally have the problem so, I assume it has a lot to do with how different people handle their phones. Keep submitting feedback. Tell all your friends to do so. Apple has been known to listen.

Maybe temporarily turn off tap-to-wake to reduce the access to the customization pending some change by Apple, too:

Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Tap to Wake > off

tap-to-wake has nothing to do with this either. This is the bad attempt by apple thinking anyone wants to change their screen image every time they pick up their phone. This happens by accidently touching the screen too long.

15 times a day for me.

This is literally a daily annoyance. Please add a disable option to settings.

Yeah it’s actually your own fingers or something else you put rubbing on your phone that’s unlocking it. So it’s you changing your wall paper. Maybe a case that closes over your screen would suit you better.

Things like this are always reviewed by management. This was a choice by Apple. It needs to be fixed.

It is literally the worst!!! It’s like ever time I touch my phone. Crazy annoying!

Maegan can you be more specific with what you mean? I don’t understand, but I would love to disable this function.

Yes, thank you!! It’s one of the worst design choices I’ve seen. Every time I pick up my phone I have inadvertently initiated the charge Lock Screen bs, it’s insanely unhelpful.

A simple, disable that and only do it via the settings menu would be fantastic.

Apple is really going down hill fast. I’m tired of pulling my phone out of my pocket to a new wallpaper that I didn’t set myself because it changes as it’s in my pocket. I’m at the point I want to go back to a flip phone because of this stuff. I hate the wallpaper setup, I hate that if I delete a photo, voicemail or text messages I have to go to another box to delete it all over again. If I delete it I want it gone right then and they’re not saved for 30 days. Apple is definitely making it where people are gonna flee them in droves. I remember my first iPhone in 2007 the iOS back then is a 1000 times better than todays iOS.
