Apple Fitness bug - competition completed but no victory badge

Hi - I am wondering if anyone had the same issue with Apple Fitness competitions, and knows the solution.

I have completed a 7-day competition twice, but the victory badge still not given. And it doesn't seem the Fitness app on my iPhone correctly captures the competition. When I tap on the competition reward badge (grayed) the app doesn't show the correct completion date, instead it says

"... the last day of your competition is competition_end_day." (Please see the screenshot below from my iPhone).

That seems a bug and could be related. Please let me know if you happen to know the solution.

P.S. I have the latest OS for the iPhone (iOS 16.1.1) and Apple Watch (watchOS 9.1) installed; also tried rebooting both devices multiple times.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. We understand you're experiencing an issue with fitness competitions. We want to make sure this is working for you, and we're happy to help. Restarting and making sure your devices are updated are great first steps, so awesome job there! We also would like to have your unpair and then pair them again to see if this continues. You may need to start a new competition to test if the correct date is shown as an end date.
